Wind is a source of energy available all over the world.
A source of clean, abundant, low-cost and inexhaustible energy.
The wind technology can transform the kinetic energy of wind (motion) into electrical energy. The recourse to this technology implies the use of aerogenerators that, made more silent and efficient by new technological solutions, “capture” the energy produced by currents.
Today the energy produced by turning to this technology covers less than 2% of the world requirements, but it is rapidly and continuously growing: within 2020, wind power might satisfy the 12% of the world requirements of electrical energy.
In comparison with other European countries, Italy is late in the use of wind energy. But today, thanks toboosting regulations and new technologies, the sector is living a new impetus. A step forward towards a sustainable development aimed at overcoming the centuries-old competition between environment and economic growth.
